Mad Science Network
April 2003

Science can be fun. Don't believe us? Just check out the tongue-in-cheek answers given by real scientists to real science questions on the off-the-wall web site, Mad Science Network. Operated by professionals and graduate students of science, this site, housed at the Washington University Medical School, is a lively way to find out about the kinds of nagging questions that can keep you awake at night. The site has some great information, but the real fun comes from reading and perhaps posting questions that are answered by scientists. The answers have a lot of humor and use (mostly) everyday language. Keep in mind, this sometimes means the answers get, well, cheeky. Be warned, as well, that there a lot of typos on this page.
