Colonial Costume Contest - 2018
Organization: Fort Ligonier
Description: Fort Ligonier will feature a kids colonial costume contest at the Fort Ligonier Center for History Education. The contest is open to students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Contestants need to research the type of clothing worn during the time of Fort Ligonier, 1759 to 1766, and participate in creating their costume and pick a persona including, but not limited to, soldier, officer, laundress, nurse, officer's wife, wagoneer, etc.

Cash prizes are awarded and all contestants are welcome to participate in the Fort Ligonier Days parade. Please call for registration and guidelines.
