Super Silly Saturdays
Organization: Compass Inn Museum
Description: Ligonier Valley Historical Society is sponsoring a series of Super Silly Saturdays in September at Compass Inn Museum, Laughlintown.
Sept. 14 - "Candy is Dandy" is featured at the museum. Come and see what types of sweet treats people ate in the 1800s.
Sept. 21 - "Positively Prints" invites visitors to the inn to discover how designs were created by and inspired by nature in the 1800s by using natural items to create and print their own medallion to take home.
Sept. 28 - "Happy Hunting" will take visitors on a scavenger hunt at the inn. Can you get there with all of your bells on? The horses pulling the Conestoga wagons could. Visitors will participate in a scavenger hunt to see how many bells they can take home.
Cost of admission for each event is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, $6 for students ages 6 to 17 years of age, and free for children under age 5. The inn will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
