Summer Camp 2013 - Outdoor Explorations
Organization: Carnegie Museum of Natural History
Description: In-depth, hands-on scientific activities focus on protecting Pennsylvania's amazing biodiversity. The week's adventures include introductions to wilderness survival skills, orienteering, forest fire prevention, and shelter building. Through hikes, games, habitat studies, and special guest appearances by Carnegie Museun scientists, campers ages 9 to 12 take their outdoor skills to the next level.

Camp fee: $220/ $200 for members

Location: Powdermill Nature Reserve, Route 381, Cook Township, Rector
